I’m certainly not an expert on ve(3,3) DEXs, but I’ve seen many launches over the past 3 years. @KittenswapHype is still in its early stages (Epoch 2 starts tomorrow), but IMO there are things that can and should be improved right now.
Here are my suggestions:

1. Increase APR for $KITTEN / $HYPE pool to 1000%+.
For a DEX, supporting the KITTEN price is very important because it directly affects the APR of all pools and, in turn, the TVL and volume/fees.
The APR can be raised to 1000% in two ways: vote for it (devs have significant voting power, so they can easily do this even without other ve-holders) and unstake the POL (protocol-owned liquidity) from the pool, leaving the entire emission for market buyers. This will create organic demand for KITTEN and help balance the weekly emissions.

2. Incentivize new ve-KITTEN locks. This could be done by offering a “bonus” allocation from the treasury, for example. If someone locks up 100 KITTEN during a certain period, they get an extra 30 KITTEN bonus from team. This would also support the price.

3. Start deploying partnerships. For example, as with @Hyperpiexyz_io. HyperPie distributes its points for providing liquidity in mHYPE pool plus some weekly bribes, and in return gets emissions directed to its pool (devs can also boost partner pools with their ve-KITTEN).
There are many projects with point systems on HyperEVM. Farming a real APR plus points is definitely a win for the end user.
